Historying the group...

Conceptualized on February 12, 2001 during the Kapihan ng Kabataan Kasama ang Pangulo in Malacanang Palace, our group was originally known as Editors in Chief of thr Philippines (EICP) then in 2002 altered to Network of Editors and Writers of the Philippines (NEW Philippines)and presently the Network of Campus Journalists of the Philippines (NCJP).

What we do in NCJP

Breaking NEWS!

The Network of Campus Journalists of the Philippines (NCJP), a one-year-old organization for young and aspiring campus journalists of the country joined the 5th International Youth Day celebration as one of the official media partners of the convention together with DZMM, Meg Magazine, Philippine Daily Inquirer's 2bU, Wave 89.1, The Artwheel Company, and New Media Associates.

NCJP, founded by Mr. Lloyd A. Luna and other young journalists from different universities all over the Philippines will cover the entire event from the days of preparation untill the last day of the convention. NCJP is composed of different student publications from different schools all over the country and this includes UGNAYAN (the official publication of the Recognize Student Organization of Adamson University), The Guardian (RTU), The USI Façade (Universidad de Sta Isabel de Naga), The Perpetualite (University of Perpetual Help Rizal), The Mindanao Varsitarian (Mindanao State University), The Philippine Artisan (TUP-Taguig), Ang Pahayagang Plaridel (DLSU-Manila), Ang Malolos (Bulacan State University), New Era University, City College of Manila, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig, Bicol University, The Franciscan (St. Francis University), St. Louis University (Bulacan), DLSU Dasmariñas, and PUP Manila to name a few. Ms. Isyrose Surriga, Vice President for NCR of NCJP, together with two more members, Mr. Jan Cromwell D. Detera and Ms. Maria Recia Canisosa completes the list of the three-man committee that will be responsible to cover the whole event on August 12-14 2004.
